Charles L. Winslow III, Co-Founder

Charles was born in Heidelberg, Germany and spent most of his childhood in Brooklyn, NY with his father and older sister. Growing up, his father emphasized that education is the key to success, and the importance of learning about different cultures. Charles ultimately decided to leave home at the age of thirteen, to attend Staples High School in Westport, CT through the “A Better Chance” program. While at Cornell University, he participated in the Semester at Sea program, where he was able to travel to twelve countries and twenty-six cities. During his time at Goldman Sachs, he worked on a small global team, which allowed him to travel to Japan and the United Kingdom. Throughout Charles’ educational and professional career, he has learned the significance of what it means to be a global citizen. He enjoys sharing his experiences with educators and students to promote cultural awareness.

Brandon T. Taylor, Co-Founder

Brandon was born and raised in Merrillville, IN, where he lived with his parents and younger sister. His family spent many summers traveling the open road from state to state. It was through these trips that Brandon developed his love for travel. During high school, he was one of few students selected to participate in a state-wide study abroad honors program in France. While at Cornell University, Brandon completed an Urban Planning program in Rome and was able to travel to six countries and various cities within Europe. Brandon also participated in a sustainable global development project, which allowed him to spend two weeks in Sakon Nakhon, Thailand. Throughout his experiences, he realized the impact of social responsibility. He now aspires to inspire youth to expand their horizons beyond their local communities.
